A couple rules before starting:
1. You may not take your camera with you to class. Any camera found on you during the school day will be confiscated and your parents will have to come in to get it.
2. Your pictures must always be appropriate for school. All of the pictures should stictly follow all of the rules of exceptability here on a normal school day.
3. Learn.... and have fun!!

February 7th: Ongoing assignment... find the letters of the alphabet in the school. (Remember, you cannot take your camera with you to class. Weely assignment: For you first weekly assignment, considering that it is so wintery out right now, try to get a picture that really captures the cold.... yup... you first weekly assignment is going to be "COLD"!

February 14th: We discussed the importance of interesting subjects in pictures, and also, the flow of vision within a picture. Your assignment these two weeks will be to find pictures with either diagonal lines leading to an interesting subject, of horizontal lines stretching across the picture.. Remember, you don't need to look for real lines... anything that flows diagonally or horizontally will work fine. We ended the meeting hunting for our ongoing assignment.

February 21st: We met and looked at light. Light is the photographers paint. We used red lights and blue lights to come up with various effects. the assignment this week was RED. Club members tried to take interesting pictures using the color red for a main focus.
